One application for all Sliding Doors Foundation Scholarship pathways.
-
Our application form adapts to the applicant’s age, the person completing the form, and the Scholarship pathway selected.
Before starting, please read the Scholarship FAQs for information about eligibility, assessment criteria, supporting evidence and the application process.
-
Applicants aged 18 years or older must complete and submit their own application, including all required financial information.
The form will guide you through the relevant personal, educational, financial and supporting information based on the Scholarship pathway selected.
If you are financially dependent on, or receive ongoing financial support from, another person, you may need to provide information about that support. However, the relevant sections remain part of your application and will not be sent to a Parent/Caregiver for completion.
-
A Parent/Caregiver must complete the financial information and consent sections for an applicant under 18 years of age.
When an applicant or Educational Institute representative begins the application, the form will automatically email the relevant financial and consent sections to the nominated Parent/Caregiver for completion.
The Parent/Caregiver does not need to complete the entire application. Once their sections are submitted, the information will be automatically added to the applicant’s Scholarship application.
-
An Educational Institute representative can begin and complete relevant parts of an application on behalf of an applicant.
You may complete the applicant, educational and assessment sections and upload supporting evidence.
For an applicant under 18, you will be asked to provide the nominated Parent/Caregiver’s contact details. The form will then automatically email the required financial and consent sections directly to that Parent/Caregiver for completion.
You are not responsible for completing the Parent/Caregiver’s sections.
-
The form displays only the questions relevant to:
the person completing the application;
the applicant’s age;
the selected Scholarship pathway; and
whether an Educational Institute is involved.
Where another person needs to contribute, the form will automatically send them the relevant sections to complete. Each person completes only the sections assigned to them, and their responses are combined into one Scholarship application for assessment.
-
Depending on the Scholarship pathway, supporting documents may include:
academic results or reports;
evidence of current or intended enrolment;
course, tuition or training costs;
financial and household information;
references or letters of support; and
evidence of achievements, leadership or community involvement.
Please ensure the information provided is complete and accurate before submitting the application.
