2026 Fundraiser
Join us at Ambra Spirits Distillery for an afternoon focused on education, opportunity, and impact, supporting the Sliding Doors Foundation scholarship program.
This community fundraiser forms part of Quinton Ewer’s Boston Marathon 2026 journey, with all funds raised supporting scholarships that help young people facing social and economic disadvantage access education.
The afternoon will be hosted by Rebecca Morse, award-winning journalist and presenter, guiding a relaxed and meaningful conversation around purpose, impact, and giving back.
Attendance is free. Guests are invited to contribute through live fundraising on the day, helping turn collective support into lasting educational outcomes.
Quinton Ewer, running for young futures.
Quinton Ewer is Adelaide-born and bred, a father of two, and a long-time leader in the fitness industry with more than 25 years of experience as a personal trainer and founder of Fundamental Fitness.
After completing his first marathon in Melbourne in 2024, Quinton ran the Adelaide Marathon in May 2025 in under three hours, qualifying him to apply for the Boston Marathon. His acceptance into the 2026 race is a major personal and athletic milestone.
Quinton chose to run for the Sliding Doors Foundation because he believes education is one of the most powerful drivers of long-term change. Through his connection with Joe Collins and Andrew Downs, and his own values around giving back, Quinton is using this moment to help create opportunities for young people facing social and economic disadvantage.
For Quinton, Boston is not just about distance. It is about using achievement to open doors for others. Connect via socials to see his journey!
All funds raised through this campaign support Sliding Doors Foundation scholarships.

About the Boston Marathon
The Boston Marathon is the world’s oldest annual marathon and one of the most prestigious endurance events globally.
Unlike most races, entry is not guaranteed. Runners must achieve strict qualifying times, apply for limited positions, and be formally accepted.
The 130th Boston Marathon will take place on 20 April 2026, covering 42.2 kilometres across one of the most historic and demanding marathon courses in the world.
For Quinton Ewer, being accepted into the Boston Marathon is both a personal achievement and an opportunity to use sport as a platform for social impact.
