Founder

Joe Collins is the Managing Director, Founder and Executive Chairman at Camms. His success is widely recognised by businesses world-wide, having built a highly regarded international software company with offices across several continents. Growing up in regional Australia, Joe attributes his success to a pivotal moment in his life when he was awarded a cadetship with the Government to attend University of SA full time and be paid a monthly allowance to offset living and education costs.

This not only propelled his education but he could then afford to move to the city to continue his tertiary studies. Once he started working he found that unemployment was an intergenerational experience and there was mixed value placed on the importance of education. The Sliding Doors Foundation has been personally seed funded by the Collin’s Family Trust who have generously donated $1M to start The Sliding Doors Foundation. Joe’s vision is to empower talented young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and provide them with opportunities that are so often reflected by Sliding Door moments.
